Can anyone recommend any particular HID headlight conversions?
I've got a smashed headlight which needs replacing and whilst I'm at it I thought I'd give these a go, I run HID spots which I love but it would great to have it on dipped headlights too... So, anyone any experiences (good and bad) with these? Oh, and I'm well aware of the legality issues....

Nearly fell off my chair when I saw they were £1000 a pair exclusive of VAT.
I thought that when you ventured into HID territory it got expensive but LEDs knock HIDs into a cocked hat. How much light and the amount people are prepared to pay for it beggars belief sometimes....Just drive during daylight hours and save yourself a mint....  If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!!

I'd be interested to see what they look like, fitted! I'm thinking of getting some too..... At the moment I have Philips HID Conversion, with AMR3025 (Windscreen washer jets) for headlamp washers. I thought, at least in Australia, another requirement of the HID system is a Halogen Supplementary Main Beam? |

"The 7" round headlight is found on many vehicles including but not limited to
Austin A40, Austin A30, Austin A35, Austin Mini - all models. Ford Mk1 Escort, Ford Anglia, Ford Consul, Ford Zephyr, Ford Zodiac. Bedford CA, Bedford CF. Hillman Imp. Landrover Defender,Landrover Series 1, 2 and 3, Range Rover Classic, Mazda MX5, Morris Minor, Morris Oxford, Triumph Herald, Triumph Vitesse, Triumph Spitfire, MGB, MGC, MG Midget, Riley Elf, Wolsely Hornet." You don't get such exclusive company in a RRS! |
