2008 2.4d 90 pick up immobiliser
I've just bought a 2008 90 pick up basic spec for work.
I have been told by the dealer that it hasn't got an engine immobiliser.
Does anyone know if they were fitted as standard on this year model.

Would think it will have, and is a standard item.

Do you have any dash warning lights?

Fitted as standard (i.e. alarm unit a.k.a 10AS unit) - but probably not active if poverty spec.

Easily done with the correct diagnostic equipment... can even wire in the ultra sonic sensor etc.

All Puma's have the alarm/immobiliser unit, so unless your insurance needs a CAT 1 it is already there...

All you need to pay for it to have the settings changed, fobs/programming and a reluctor ring fitted if needed... and then up to you if you want the ultra sonic sensor.
