Cruise Control Wiring
Right Guys... Some help required here, I have a cruise kit which I'd like to fit... I've mounted the control stalk and looked at wiring the unit up... However, Being the perfectionist that I can be at times. I'd like to wire it up to be either removable or dual crimped within the original loom (using replacement sockets dual crimped into the original loom connector)...
So does anyone know where you can get the female/male sides of the brake switch connector... I can get the AMP 2 pin clutch switch connectors and the unit comes with the connector for the throttle pedal... So that only leaves the speed pick up and power connector (I'm hoping I maybe able to get a replacement connector socket for the dash and Dual crimp the original wiring and the new together and re-fit to the original plug...)...
The Power is a basic female receptor (although you can't get at it???) which is useful

Cheers

Normally, I do not like to "cut" the original harness/wiring......

So for the installation of the cruise control it is necessary 3 "Y" connections

1. the throttle (provided by the kit seller)
2. The clutch switch (normally the installation need to "current steals" (that I hate, I do not know the correct translation)
3. The brake switch C0029L (the right switch, not the left), same as point 2.

So I create my own "Y"

The brake one isn't easy, I bought the female (Motorcraft) from USA and I create the male one sacrificing a new brake switch

I like your work. I also do not like to cut the factory loom.

Where did you get the picture showing the connector locations?

Thanks,

Mark

It's a mobile centre unit... I'm looking at making a small kit for people so they don't have to cut up their original loom... that way if you have any issues. The kit will be easily bypassed in case there is a fault...
If people are interested please pm me...

The only issues are the connector for the brake switch and the rpm pick up from the dash loom......

Something like Delgardo has done would be the way forward..

If I make a kit it will consist of

1, Main loom T-Piece (which will fit between the ign barrel and loom)

2, Clutch Switch T-Piece

3, Brake Switch T-Piece

I would probably make it to full military spec, So DR25 with potted connectors and heat shrink boots It doesn't matter how bad it is, It can always get worse...

Wiring kit for Nakatanenga´s cruise control 2 unit?
Hi folks,

does anybody offer the wiring kit described above? Looks really perfectly built, I am just wondering how the connection to the combination meter was done?

Hope we are talking about the same cruise control, that I am about to buy: http://dl.nakatanenga.de/anleitung/tempdeftd4.pdf

Regards

Stefan
