Hi all,
I'm after a second set of steel wheels to put my Simex JT's on and modulars seem to fit the bill. I run mach 5's as my daily wheels and the 3" offset gives me plenty of steering lock even with 285's on. So, the question is, where can I get some mod's with 3" offset (16x8). My normal supplier is drawing a blank at the moment, anyone any thoughts? Cheers, Ross The Scotia Winch Challenge |

McS,
Fekete must have close to a 3" offset on his. I run on Mach 5s too. If you compare pictures between Fekete and mine bear in mind his tyres are 12.50 and mine 11.50 width, but can't be far off! Never one to miss an opportunity to post a piccy or two. You too don't half have some cr4p in your album. I had a bit of a clearout. Off to crewroom for cup o' tea. Only you and me on-line at the mo! 4" backspace (0 offset) is the right choice on 8" wide wheels. Any other would cause you troubles. I have 285`s also. Mine were imported from the states though. Puma 110" SW ............................................................. Earth first. Other planets later |

Have you considered upping the width to 10"? Didn't read the original post thoroughly, sorry!
Mine and Fekete's are both 10s. If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!! Treat every day as if it is your last....one day you will be right!! |
