This is an issue we have had though for us it is more important that my old man is able to get in the vehicle and drive as much as anything. When we were still entertaining the idea of a pickup the only one that seemed to be worth a look was the extra cab Isuzu as the tow weight is good and the overall length is the shortest outside a defender. We however decided that even with all the above they're still huge and for us that limits them too much. Rhubarb and custard let fly with their secret weapon.

They went downhill with the third gear generation, and are still just as bad... An engine to TDi for! "Land Rover- Proudly turning drivers into mechanics since 1948" |

Just got back from a long drive in the Hi Lux demonstrator. What an uninspiring lazy lump and one gear less than the Defender I'm trying to replace. Glad I'll be back in the Disco tomorrow.

I've got one of these, it's the 2nd one I've had, never had any problems with Shogun's, if you don't need more than 2 seats they're ideal as a commercial. Its' a shame there's not a better choice of commercials out there, I think the manufacturers are missing a major trick. |
