I just got back from a week away, and my 52 plate TD5 which has been parked up outside is soaked in the back,
Also got a wet foot when I moved it from its parking space

 unbelivable aint it, i still havnt got round to completely getting rid of the leak myself, the windowscreen foam genuine is dirt cheap under £6.00 im going to get it as we have one in stock at work im going to rip the old one out silicone it up and then fit the new seal  |

I have been contemplating if there would be any sense in removing the roof, sides and screen and rebuilding with new seals. However I have come to the conclusion that I would be wasting my time, as with the design of the vehicle there is bound to be movement between panels, and more leaks would eventually develop. 2021 Defender 110 X-Dynamic HSE D300 MHEV

what product do you recommend to make the foam gasket below the windscreen waterproof? no dum dum so how about sikaflex? i'm fed up with the passanger footwell leaking

David, a easy quick way which i have done before is take out the old gasket, loosen off the windscreen hinges as this makes life easier, then silicone the hole inside, by a new genuine gasket for below the screen and cut it in half place it back in just for a original show look and it will never leak again but still look dead original
