Hello to all,
I hope someone on here can help me again. Underneath the heater box there is a large grommet (or should be on my Td5) Does anyone know the part number or size? Would guess around 50mm I tried to load a picture on here to help but was unable. Many thanks, Mick |

That's answered my thoughts as well, and like you could also do with sealing up the hole. 1999 Defender TD5 110

Click image to enlarge I used a 50mm Vw grommet I hsd in the garage then sealed around it and then dynamat Click image to enlarge Then closed cell foam and the mats back over the top. it's a lot quieter now too  Admin note: this post has had its images recovered from a money grabbing photo hosting site and reinstated |

I'm doing mine slightly different as the dynamat on the seat box is going on the inside and just across the top so I get a double benefit to stop road noise

Hello to all,
I contacted a chap on LRO ask an expert and he found the part number for the grommet in passenger footwell. It is 345140 I ordered it from Rimmers and is now fitted. |
