Depending on who you go with will determine this but the Bas remap does offer the egr off in the map which is part off the main price this turns it off in the programming as requested
So in a nut shell I wouldn't bother replacing it unless your leaving it a long time before the remap Kind regards steve 2015 2.2 tdci hardtop xs 3.2 conversion DONE 238bhp and 707nm torque and thats just the start ;-P hybrid turbo in build -done ready to fit ashcroft atb in transfer box 6 speed auto in build |

I´m also thinking of putting the BAS remap back, as I was very pleased with it. I´m even thinking of taking the new BAS remap.
But still I´m a bit reluctant as the turbo manifold was warped and the dealer needed to replace the whole turbo. car has done only 25000 km. I´m afraid that because of the remap the manifold was warped. I cannot find a good answer if the problem was caused by the remap, or this also could have happen with a standard map in combination with for example some heavy towing. So is a remap the main reason for a warped turbo manifold and in what circumstances you can get these problems? |
