Under body was on any steel surfaces so axles, springs (if need be) chassis and so on. You can do floor pans underneath too as I did but that is only for satisfaction really that it is ALL done. WeWillWinπ¬π§πΊπΈ

I bought this kit from rejel
http://www.rejel.com/rejel-store/categoryi.../9405.aspx I found there was 1 can too many of the cavity wax and one too few of the underbody stuff. However, I did do all the underside of my 110 including springs and floor panels and inner arches front and rear (galvanised arches rather than the plastic ones fitted these days. http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic20716.html Have fun |

Once done, how often should it be renewed? The supplier says 6 months to 2 years, but they would wouldn't they? So what's the practical life?

Once every two years would probably work for me.

I would say one year for a top up but more major after 2 years. To be honest unless you do serious off-roading or especially wading then I think it will be fie for quite a long while. It's the initial application that's the most important IMO anything else is adding more to it. WeWillWinπ¬π§πΊπΈ

To start with, spend 6 months jet washing the chassis, this is how long I have been cleaning mine and this morning I found another clump of dried mud
![]() Personally, I'm only going to properly Dinitrol (aerosols) the inside of the chassis and x-members,with only a very, very light coating on the outside,as I like to jet wash periodically and will Dinitrol the outside again before next winter. |

Proper coat of 3125 and 4941 on top and you won't have to reapply for 3-4 years even with hard off road use. Just touch up with a can of 4941 if you get knock etc. and on main wear points. Cheers Steve |
