Aerosol vs compressor Dinitrol application (Lancashire)
Hi folks, just picked up my brand new defender and I am wanting to prolong it's life.

I don't think my compressor is up to the job stated on the Rejel website...

Has anyone done their chassis using the aerosol kit and can they report on how effective they think it was vs the compressor kit?

If I'd be weeing into the wind with an aerosol kit I'd appreciate a heads up on who might be able to do the job for me in Lancashire?

Many thanks

IMHO you will get better coverage and a thicker coating with compressor application than a DIY flick can application.

I've done mine with aerosol cans. Just depends simply on how you use it and how much you put on.
I'm personally very pleased and there isn't really a difference in price.

You won't believe this-I'm just from starting mine. Spoke to Peter at Rejel, great guy Thumbs Up He gave me a number to pass on to a few owd chaps that aren't able to do the work.

Contact Mick Gresty, Rust Master. 07748274966. Based in Manchester. I am no way guaranteeing his work. I do not know him, but I will say that Peter is a honourable sort of chap and worth a phone call for advice Thumbs Up Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

I did mine with aerosols, no problems and happy with the results. I also keep going back now and then to squirt wherever I have just moved some bolts about or changed something, for which aerosols is probably less hassle.
good luck, it's a little messy however you do it.Cheers,

You have always got the option of hiring a compresser from a high street hire shop would probably cost no more than £30 for a weekend

Cheers folks.

I'll give Rejel a call and see what they say about the aerosol application.
