Well your idea would work but I don't actually have a blade anyway.

When I purchased my gear, I was on my way to Sydney for a few days and thought about the 5" while I was away. On my way back home I dropped back into the audio shop and tried the 'low profile' in the Vibe range but when I offered them up to the dash I was pretty certain they were going to foul on the heater duct on the passenger side so I went the safe way, especially since the shop is 4 hours from home.

Oh well, live and learn I guess. I'm happy with the sound and if I don't listen to it with a 5" I won't know
![]() ![]() I did have an issue with a tweeter stopping working, sent it back got a new one. Then it stopped working, so I pulled it and found a dry solder joint, re-soldered all ![]() ![]() Mick |

And that's Steve's concern also. We have been discussing it for about 6 months. I have not fitted any, but had a good look in a mates puma, and did not see any major dramas. Yes you would have to enlarge the hole slightly but other than that ![]() ![]() |
