Tip for next year - for inexpensive food try the on site indian/fish and chips takeaway place (just off the show ground- Timber Building) they are very good and not dear, in fact cheap compared to takeaways where we live - Cod & Chips £4.70 which is £6-7 down here in Dorset. Ate there a couple of times and recommended - the curries looked very good as well.

Show food is always V.pricey and thats not something particular to Billing, at every show it costs an arm and a leg unless maybe as mentioned before a local/farmers/specialist food court is there like you get at some of the Game Fairs - Welsh Oggies come to mind Thumbs Up

I seriously hope there isn't another one I don't think I could cope with two! Whistle

On the subject of food, we ate exceptionally well as ever with superb food appearing as if by magic - thanks to Karen. I learnt long long ago to avoid food at shows it is invariably mediocre and overpriced. You need to sell a hell of a lot of cups of coffee and hot dogs to recoup the cost of their pitch

For future reference a lot of the local takeaways will deliver if you arrange to pick it up at the gate.
Last night we had a Chinese which we ordered over the Internet from tong hong and I nipped out to pick it up. It was a meal for four, cost £40 and would probably have fed six!
On previous visits we have had pizza delivered in.

Simon, my little lad MASON cost me fortune on the RC track.....his best was 1.26 I believe....

Yeah, he did very well, I think he enjoyed himself (at your expense... Rolling with laughter ).

I had a go and ran out of time after 5 mins.... Embarassed

The lad who won, Josh, did it in 56 seconds....I think he was a bit of a bandit...he had some of these RC trucks already so knew what he was doing. Still a very impressive performance.

Cheers

No worries Matt, your work is a credit to you.

I never got time to come and get that cubby box at the end of the show, just ran out of time. I'll get one at the next show.

Cheers
