Had a good couple of days wandering around the show. Each lap round the showground I looked into the forum sponsor's stands and they were all busy, didn't manage to have a chat with many at all Sad

I did see welshsurferdude by the photo tent having a few electrical issues with his DC after going round the course. Hope you managed to get home ok buddy. Nice to meet you and good to put a face to an a name. I'll post up the footage of you getting dragged backwards out of the mud run when I get a chance. I did chuckle when the chap in the passenger seat had to pull his legs up to save his feet getting wet from the copious amount of muddy filth that entered the cab. I don't envy you the job of trying to scrub that lot out. To be fair you weren't the only one to have troubles and I think the torrential rain last night turned the mud hole into a mud hell with lots of casualties.

The show did seem smaller this year. There was loads of stuff there but I couldn't really find a great deal of choice for the things I went there to buy. Came away with a few goodies though. Food and drinks were expensive, although the Greek place was pretty reasonable. Elsewhere, £5 for a baguette and £2 for a small bottle of coke is daylight robbery in anyone's book and a bit of a put off really.

Overall I enjoyed it, some very nice landies there, lots of products that I would have liked but couldn't afford to buy and some interesting ideas that I might borrow. 2015 90 XS CSW TDCi - Beautiful

Great show met Chris kill and rustyboxx took a vid of me drowning my 110 in the mud run of the Offroad course! Bloody hell it was deep! Killed my alternator again same as last years wet Salisbury plain trip!!! Why do I always go the deepest bit??

Cue 170 miles limping home stopping every 7-10 miles to hit alternator with hammer and wd40 to get it charging with a mulitmeter hooked to battery to let us know when voltage dropped enough to stop n whack it again!!

Great show

Very wet leaky tent

Great many beers had

We camped on Grange Farm from Thursday to Sunday and was on the Buxton & District Land Rover Club Stand. Great weekend and even sat round the fire on Sat night when it Censored ed down Laughing

Bought a few bits from Mobile Centre and Flatdog. It was my first Billing and enjoyed it very much, will go again. We got invited to take our club RC Trial Course to the Overland show in September, so may be the next one for us.

Cheers

Simon

Ps the FCX stand was awesome, Matts work on the 130 is just stunning to see in the flesh... Thumbs Up

i enjoyed friday; particularly meeting up with the forum sponsors and fuelling wishlists that may come to fruition in the next 12 months.

only bought some seat covers and a bow shackle.
agree that the food is geeting very expensive (mental note - bring a pack lunch next year)

suprised that the following traders weren't there:
APB Worcester
exmoor trim
devon 4x4
mudstuff
no tyre manufacturers or traders at all Shocked

is peterborough becoming the new Billing?
