+1 for the above comments.
Great putting faces to forum names at Billing. Although I couldn't buy anything there because I am waiting for the Defender to arrive in September, there are lots of goodies I want/need now I have been able to see them. Big thank you to Matt (FCX) and Chris (CSK) who took the time to chat despite the crowds. To many others as well, great show! 1970 Series 2A 88" |

I went on Saturday, it was my first Billing and thoroughly enjoyed it. I didn't bother any of the sponsors due to not wanting to distract from money spending customers but did check out their stands.
I really took a fancy to the MobileCentre black and red 110. Though taking a photo of the black and pink one has caused some 'heated discussions' with the girlfriend!! I could have walked round for another few hours but my brother had to be back to baby sit (or as his wife calls it, parenting) Next year I'll probably go on my own so I have no time restraints and no one else to please and I can go at my own pace. I totally understand people saying its not as good as last year, its smaller or exactly the same as last year etc as that happened to me when I used to attend the motorbike show at the NEC every year. Now I go on a adhoc basis. Deffo doing Billing again next year as only an hours drive for me. Strong people are harder to kill and generally more useful! |

great show i was there all weekend ,i did here there was a theft of 6 crates of beer from the mobile shop ,and one trader was woken at 3am when someone crashed into his stall, and did a runner, but speaking to the secruity manager there was little to report just a few small incidents and nothing major.
after hearing all those thefts in the past years was vigillant but hade a good weekend |

Had a great weekend on the Mobilecentre / J.W.Speaker stand. VERY VERY burnt head from to much sun, always a pleasure showing folk around the 110,and talking to people. A few mix reactions to the new 90 in the fleet, and the display trailer gets better evey show..
Also noticed more and more Landys havihg the 8700 fitted, making a change from 3 years back when the only ones were in Irb's Puma and Lindsay Porters 110. Think thats due to pricing and our friendly banter on the stand Looking forward to Petebog13 Putting Dreams on Drives at JLR Solihull.. |
