Front Offside Indicator
Whilst on the paper run this morning, went to indicate left and the indicator light on the panel was blinking rapidly, checked front offside bulb and it was not working, replaced bulb and the same thing happens, rapid blinking on panel plus the new bulb was not working, when indicating to go right everythings ok.Anyone know of a quick fix or is it a warranty job. Cogito ergo sum

Are you absolutely certain the new bulb is ok? A check for definate is to replace it with one in the other side, that you know works. If still not working, have a look at fuses next, if I were you. Mark

This gets better, have know checked all fuses, A ok, and changed the bulb over with one I knew was working, now none of the indicators work Big Cry , changed the bulbs around again and still no indicators working Banging Head , have know resigned myself to having some newcastle browns whilst watching the beautiful game, Rugby that is. I'm suspecting the indicator stalk maybe fooked, unless someone knows different.

Paul must be a bit early for you! Laughing He's hardly going to 'pop round' if he's sunning himself and gorging himself on tagliatelle in Italy now, is he? Couldn't resist sorry! Bad earth I reckon as the alarm function may have a separate one!

Cancel that!!!! See post below!

Just a thought!
Just had a quick glance at the wiring diagrams, this may (or may not help) both the supplies for each front indicators and the associated earths is shared with the repeater indicator.
When you had your initial problem was the repeater still working? If it was a simple bulb failure the repeater should still operate.
The alarm supply is totally separate but feeds onto a common supply branch to all indicators and eventually uses the same supply path and earths as the indicator stalk.
In summation if they work with the alarm the fault must be before the common supply branch to the indicator stalk and it's supply.
If they all work on hazards this too will help reaffirm it and hopefully direct you to where the problem is! If not you've bought a duff bulb and it is confusing the issue. Start again with all known serviceable bulbs. Good luck! Thumbs Up

Hope this makes sense. If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!!

Thanks for all the replies gents, called out Landrover assist this morning and problem was resolved in 15mins, apparently when it went into the dealers the other day for new headlamp rims they had inadvertantly loosened the wires at the back of the bulb unit, I know, I know should have checked all the connections Embarassed , lesson has been learnt.
