Netherlands 1986 Defender 90 200 Tdi SW Zambezi Silver
I picked up mine this weekend. We left early in the morning with a trailer behind a very capable car.

As per the instructions on some discussion boards we loaded the Porsche ass first.

We than set off to my workshop some 3 hours away. Got there in one piece and the journey was very relaxed. And got it off the trailer.

No Dutch registration yet so off the trailer and into the workshop. Covered it with its tailored indoor cover and went home to make an appointment with the Dutch dvla.

The seller gave me all the invoices of the work he had done to it. Bought it 6 years ago at a dealer for Europe 9.500,00 more than I paid for it. Just a few months after he got it had the dealer install europipes sports exhausts, a nice bonus!

He had the 911 for 6 years and drove 12.500 km's with it....

Have you ever driven a Cayman 'S'?

If not, try driving one back to back with a 911, the Cayman feels more planted and somehow just feels better on the road, although the 911's have the upper edge on being 'the Porsche' to have, then you could 'upgrade at some stage in the future? Just a suggestion, but if your minds made up, best of luck.

You are joking of course !!

Came out of a 4 year old 911 and into a 12 month old Cayman S

Completely different car,, poor build quality, cheap plastic, handled and drove like a dog in comparison !! got shot ASAP

In the top 5 of worse cars i ever had,, A Coxster with a lid !! California F1, 75th 110 "Kermit", 50th Ann V8, 90 V8 Hybrid, 55 Series 1

Nowt wrong with a "classic" early SL

On a convertible, just don't like the rear lines of the 911, too big a arse ??. so prefer the SL

Up in the Pyrenees in May,,had the place almost to ourselves Thumbs Up

Red is a lovely color for that model 911! One of the dealers I went to look at 993's had one in red and it was stunning!

Pics needed ASAP!

Mine will go to the Dutch dvla this week so hope to get it registered early next week. I will post some pics than as well.
