911 died on me last night, it's just like owning a Defender
![]() 3 hours for recovery to turn up ![]() Sat up till 1.30am this morning trying different things with the help of guys on the IB forum (see, we aren't the only saddos ![]() A few bits have been ordered today, I'll keep you all posted ![]() |

![]() Turned out to be the fuel pump had expired. It's sited underneath the car which unlike a Defender you can't crawl under so the ramps on the rear of the ifor where used and the 911 got up them on the end of the FCX 130 winch rope (so this isn't totally off topic ![]() |

Love the new car and been looking again recently. I have had a 993 targa - most beautiful thing I have ever bought and changed this and VW California last year for 997 c2s (every day driver) and a defender (weekend family toy). Like defenders there are lots of forums and help/ advice. If, more likely when you need parts, I would suggest a call to www.jasmine-porschalink.co.uk and ask for Brian or www.porsch-apart.co. and speak to Simon. Enjoy the combo.

For some reason, i just don't get the line's on a turbo car with a rag top,, look's to big in the bum California F1, 75th 110 "Kermit", 50th Ann V8, 90 V8 Hybrid, 55 Series 1

I know what you mean.
This one is interesting, it's a 3.2 Carrera '87 with what I think is a 'Dage' body kit with steel arches front and back, Andy Prill rebuild on the engine. It's local to me, has been around for a while and is owned by a car dealer who doesn't really want to sell it ![]() |
