Dash warnings.
My red brake, amber ABS and amber TC warning are now on all the time. Is it an ABS sensor and any way of finding or testing without booking it in to the dealers?
Thanks. 2008 RS4 gone, 123d M Sport, and a Puma 90 XS..

It could be a sensor, but it could also be chaffed wiring, which a few Puma owners have reported, or even a wheel bearing.

Chaffed wiring is the only one that would be visible, but even that might need a diag. check to determine which wheel to look at. Darren

Red Dot,

I have the same issue and believe it to be a sensor as it started gradually coming on after 20 minutes of driving, and now it comes on every time.

If you want a short term solution, get yourself going at a reasonable pace, put the clutch in and let it freewheel while you switch the engine off and start it up again and let the clutch out. Razz Lights out Razz

Also some people have had earthing trouble with one earth on the bulkhead behind the water expansion tank and also on the inside of the chassis rail next to the battery box. Worth a check there and also whether the terminals are tight.

Cheers,
William William

Just tried a hard reset but still on.... will give all suggestions a try. I mashed a cable in a rut and a quick fix was done four years ago so i will check the repair hasnt come undone. It is known as the 3 Amigos i believe. 2008 RS4 gone, 123d M Sport, and a Puma 90 XS..

I had this problem the lights were intermittent , it turned out to be a chaffed wire, don't know which one I took advantage of my 1 year land rover warranty

With my 2008 Defender, the dealer had to replace the wiring of the back axle. That is a common failure.
