Rear Lower Shock Bushes
I'm looking for some of the above as I noticed today that one of my bushes is a bit worn.

I've found part number RNF100090L, but everywhere I look, it says they are for up to 2007.

I've got a puma 110 and can't seem to find any. Anyone know if these do actually fit a Puma?

Thanks Craig Rogers

I did consider a Poly conversion, but I do a lot of road driving so was thinking about the increased stiffness. Craig Rogers

Polybush do different variants for different conditions. I got an advisory on my MOT for mine and it is something I myself need to look at. I have heard the longevity of polybushes is worth the spend.

Thumbs Up Yeah, was just looking at the Dynamic Full kit - http://www.lrparts.net/defender-from-2002-...e-kit.html

Looks pretty decent. I think I'll have a failure next month on mine as one of the lower bushes is a bit loose.

In fact, decent question?

What are peoples previous choices? Performance, Comfort or Dynamic? Craig Rogers

I suppose it depends on interpretation of the words performance, dynamic etc. Ultimately mine are 'worn' and need replacing and I shall probably go for performance as I like that word. Mine is road use only and I suppose it doesn't really matter so much?

Laughing Thumbs Up

I too was considering a full kit but bu993r it I'll replace just the shock bushes for the time being as I have worked quite a lot on the truck recently and don't need to bog myself down with anymore tinkering that doesn't need doing! If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!!

Glad I'm not the only one thinking that.

I'm going to just do the rear shocks to start with. Craig Rogers

Hi x-isle

My 110 failed its MOT on 1 worn rear bush, ironically they were actually easily available £2.50 + vat each from my Land Rover dealer parts department

Unfortunatly they were closed so had to buy a whole shock absorber from an autspares just to get two incorrect bushes for £36 so I could get it through the retest Sunday Morning.

Then I bought four of them from the dealer to redo both shocks, hmm still need to fit them Confused He who dies with the most toys wins Smile

Must be a common failing, mine are shot and in need ASAP, I was aware when I purchased too but thought they'd last a little more

Must be a common thing then........

Still undecided to just get standard for pennies or upgraded for a fair bit more.

I away for most of this week so I'll worry about it when I'm back! Cool Craig Rogers

Mine is also an advisory from March, so I better get them looked at pronto. I'm going to Polybush all mine as I go along, I'm not going to rush but replace methodically as I need to.

Any advice on type as there is three types, Performance/Dynamic/Comfort. My DC doesn't carry weight, but does haul the Sankey but really need advice on which would suit me. Don't want to bounce any more than I am already Laughing

Well I've decided to go for the Dynamic Polybush set for the rear shocks.

I've emailed Polybush so hope to get an answer soon, but does anyone know if "Kit 12" does both shocks or do I need two of them? At £29.50 I'd expect it to be both shocks.

"Kit 12" does indeed contain the bushes for both rear shocks.

After deciding against them and going just for Genuine lower bushes, I decided that if I'm doing the lowers I may as well do the uppers. So I changed my mind back and have purchased the Dynamic version of Kit 12.

Hopefully, I'll get around to fitting them this weekend.

I'll let you know how I get on.

Oh and if anyone wants a set of these...... > http://www.lrspareparts.com/eshop/bush-oe-quality.html < I purchased a set of 4 that cost £6.46 including delivery. Happy for £5 inc delivery. Craig Rogers
