totally agree, a hotel i visited many times in Oslo thought that by sticking "the irish times" news paper to the wall some how made it an Irish pub ...

Ironically many of my friends/neighbours here if they go to the UK on hols often talk about going to a quintesentially 'English country pub' So the Irish pub's a bit of a myth really - all the ones I know have the usual Sky sports on a big screen etc
