So will see you on Handy Cross roundabout wiggling about as you oversteer and then compensate from your new found steering reactiveness haha.
Have to agree, Chris is a damn good egg when it comes to honest assistance and great service. =================================== Steve 90 xs sw in Stonoway Grey - Sold 110 USW X-TECH |

Are the B6 shocks a big difference from standard? In what way??
Also, which steering damper is the maestro Chris recommending? Cheers 1951 80" S1 2.0 1995 110 300TDI 1995 90 300TDI |

Indeed, Chris is ace when it comes to good service.
The Bilsteins took out the "crashiness" out of the ride. Prior to this, the 110 was very bouncy, save for when it was heavily loaded, but I don't run it with a big load in the back all that often. Usually carries the family around, who consist of myself and three small ladies (well, two small ladies and one tiny toddler). I had messed around with tyre pressure and that had a small effect, but it was still rather "crashy", for lack of a better term. The Bisteins seemed to even a lot out, plus the 110 corners a lot better. It isn't like a cushy limo, don't get me wrong, but it is much better - especially for those in the back. I'm using their B6 RTC damper as well - which made a huge improvement as I previously stated. |
