I, as most of you I guess, have changed the front wiper relais to the programmable one from Volkswagen. Does what I want from it. Why they couldnīt make it adjustable, like it was on the RRC 25years ago - cannot understand.
I tinkered with putting the now-unemployed front relais to the rear door. There is an instruction on the net. Looks easy enough. But in the end I concluded I have never faced weather conditions where I needed a rear wiper to act regularly al 10seconds. If I turn it on manually itīs only very occasionally. And most of the time Iīm annoyed be the wipers scratching the rear screen when I do not need to look through it, be it intermittend or continuously wiping. So in fact - I might do the very opposite: change the switch in the dash for a push-button (? how else do you call the switches which do not stay in a "on" position and have to be depressed another time to be "off" again). Then Iīll only have to press the knob once to wipe the rear screen once which is all I need. |
