2009 Defender 90 Puma 2.4 HT Galway Green

transferbox bolt torque

Hi all
have oil leak on bottom gasket on my puma 09 defender transfer box, does anybody know the tourqe settings for the bolts and any other tips would be greatly appreciated .

Hello,

Could you take a picture, are you sure that it doesn't come from the seal of the rear output shaft.

just seem to get droplet of oil on lowest bolt have cleaned down but carnt see any oil running down from above can take picture tomorrow pitch black at the moment , cheers bunny

Hi the drain bolt torque on transfer box is 50nm (filler bolt torque is 35nm)

the bolt torque i needed was the bolts on the lower case gasket for when i renew it saturday, didnt want to over tighten
