Just scrutineering the dash layout etc ! Noticed that there is a Low Box warning light on the dash where the rev counter is in thr black bit where the clock should be ?
Any way having used it in low box and Diff Lock that particular light has never illuminated ? So where is the Warning light for Low Box and is mine U/S ? DEFENDER XS CSW 08 TONGA GREEN |

Working from memory,, no lamp for low gears, only diff lock !!
Had a couple of occasions, where i had to use reverse and lock to lock, for the diff lock to dis-engage !!! California F1, 75th 110 "Kermit", 50th Ann V8, 90 V8 Hybrid, 55 Series 1 Main Brian James Trailer Dealer for South West UK |

the light is there and on the first ones out of the factory it was connected up and came on to show low range
they just gave up connecting it up on the later models i expect you could find a way to reconnect it. Cheers James 110 2012 XS Utility 130 2011 M57 bespoke Camper 90 2010 Hardtop 90 M57 1988 Hardtop |

Its actually part of other model dash clocks.
I would be interested in connecting it up (only as i think it would be cool). Mike |

correct - D3, some RRS
possibly as some D3 owners may struggle to work out why they can only go 40mph!! (note i said some note all before anyone gets upset) Cheers James 110 2012 XS Utility 130 2011 M57 bespoke Camper 90 2010 Hardtop 90 M57 1988 Hardtop |
