just try moving rear door up/down when its open, hinges could have had it if you have spare wheel on door..Or its not adjusted properly when shut.... Putting Dreams on Drives at JLR Solihull..

Found it.......took the spare wheel off eventually, needed a hammer on the wheel spanner, and the fixing it was on ( a black tubular locking bracket system) made a similar noise, took it for a spin and no rattle, so the weight of the spare wheel is making the bracket bang over bumps, is there a fix as it is quite annoying?

If its a Mantec design, cut some thin plastic discs and insert in the pivot points, then nip the pivot bolts up.
