Banging from drivers side rear
Hi all

Ever since buying the landy, there has been a banging/knocking coming from inside I think when you go over bumps, I really want to find out what it is, I have removed the jack from behind the seats just now, it's not that, the rear is empty, I really can't work it out, does the spare wheel on the back door rattle, I have shaken it when stationary, and it doesn't seem to make a similar noise......anyone any ideas? It's definitely rear drivers side I think

just try moving rear door up/down when its open, hinges could have had it if you have spare wheel on door..Or its not adjusted properly when shut.... Putting Dreams on Drives at JLR Solihull..

Found it.......took the spare wheel off eventually, needed a hammer on the wheel spanner, and the fixing it was on ( a black tubular locking bracket system) made a similar noise, took it for a spin and no rattle, so the weight of the spare wheel is making the bracket bang over bumps, is there a fix as it is quite annoying?

If its a Mantec design, cut some thin plastic discs and insert in the pivot points, then nip the pivot bolts up.

Thumbs Up
