Cheers AndrewS...Thats good to know ...also will be good to see vid Thumbs Up

This is Carl giving some members of the D3 a lift to the Special Stage. Note a fat D3 stuck in the sand. Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter Thumbs Up

Unfortunately all I can find is the end of the stage. He was up against a Tomcat, Milner, Bob tailed souped up RR and loads of other special vehicles. His clutch pedal was on the floor so he had to change gear without it.

He came second to the Milner by about 4 seconds

AndrewS,

Spoke to Matt Lee direct, the Mach 5 perspective of the business was indeed sold but the company 'went bust!' He now has the manufacturing rights back again, and has started reproducing! The 'new' Mach 5s have been restyled slightly with the centres being restyled, the spokes being slightly flared and restyling on the beadlocks too.
The restyled beadlocks are the first to be produced. He is now dealing solely with Devon 4x4 so that it the route to go!

Not really right thread but my original post was in it! Moderators feel free to move. Finally finished wrestling with my conscience and got the green light to purchase a set of Mach 5s. Phoned Devon 4X4 who told me that every other phonecall they took was enquiries about Mach 5s. They've got a few singletons and a complete set for a Jeep on special offer! There is/are no details about forthcoming availability!
Matt if what Devon 4X4 says is true, potentially you are losing out on a lot of revenue! Can we have a public update please? Anyone in touch with him please pass this on! Thanks! If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!!

Treat every day as if it is your last....one day you will be right!!
