Spent yesterday cleaning the defender after the weekend on Sailsbury plains. I think it took longer to clean the dust out from the inside than the mud off the out side Russell

Spent the last two days (Not today) working on my 90. What a luxury it is to be able to have days spare to work on it in fine weather with the sun out! Sun getting a little bit much to stick at times too!

got some new boots sorted for my 90!
Pic is not the best as it's showing the "now for sale" ones in the foreground but you can just about make out the deep dish alloys and 235's in the background. Now to use them! Click image to enlarge 1996 300Tdi Defender 110 |

Sanded back to rusty pint on the rear cross member, applied a rust killer liquid followed by two coats of primer, coats of under coat and finally a niece shinny back paint. I may get rubbed back at the weekend and second top coat.
While waiting for the various stages to dry, sprayed up a new set of hinges for the drivers door and searching for the nuts that bolts fasten into on the pillar, couldn't find them so gave up as now to hot. Don't make old people mad. We don't like being old in the first place, so it doesn't take much to us off. Richard |

Hello,
today morning my new bonnet steps arrived. I'll will fix them at the weekend. They look very nice. The powder coating is in a top quality. They are made especially for the TD5 bonnet. The color is black matt. Ciao |
