Welcome.
Scotch heavy duty or 3M is the stuff we use. I just used some on my waterproof electric junction boxes under my seats and it is really strong stuff. I replaced those pieces with Dynamat for the same reason...When I get around to it, I'll use double-sided tape to put the NK back over the top of the Dynamat... Defender "Puma" 2.4 110 County Utility (possibly the last of the 2.4's) |

+1 I just discovered the stuff - amazing how these adhesive thingies have come on in recent years Tell someone you love them today because life is short. But shout it at them in German because life is also terrifying and confusing... |

One of our contractors use a double sided adhesive clear gel type tape, it's about 5mm wide and 2-3mm thick, they use it to stick signs up. We had to remove the Costa Coffee sign on one of our vessel bulkheads and it took two of us to pull it off due to the risk of the sign breaking before the tape giving. The adhesion was amazing. I'll see if I can get a brand name. If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!!

@K9F Thanks for the link. I had the same problem - Noisekiller sold me some heat resistant adhesive spray when I mentioned the problem to them - needless to say that fell off too! Will try the 3M stuff.

@cobs
know what you mean, same here but I did not buy their glue. instead I have Dynamat under the bonnet, in the footwells, bell housing, under the roof and will change the seat box and rear at some point... If you need some check out the forum offer, MPS deliver Dynamat quickly and efficiently and at a good price BM52 |

by the way we are a sign supply company and the stuff you are looking for is red gel tape. It is clear and comes with a red paper backing. It is real permenant stuff. Alternativly look on ebay for red gel tape.
We also sell a silicon tube type adhesive and its called stix-all, about 6 qwid plus vat a tube, it is bloody good stuff!!! i use it for everything including diff sealing, bellhouseing sealing and sump sealing. Beat that for a all rounder. |
