Black 110 has had a larger Alisport intercooler supplied by Pete at BAS and fitted by Matt at MKS.
Also had a light swop. Brendan |

Mr Sykes was showing us some photos at Club Night of your Lazer LEDs blazing away in his workshop. In daylight they were mega bright. Along with the video clip seen on the forum it has decided us for certain - we'll deffo have a couple of the ST4s off you at some point soon! Blow the expense! Our blog - http://landytravels.com/

Hi Pam, sorry we did not make club night the other night when you could have seen them in use.
Need to tweak the angle on some of them. Switch the LED headlights on. Switch the bumper mounted ST4's on and you do not know that the LED headlights are on. The bumper mounted lights are angled slightly outwards to give a good spread of light sideways. Great for spotting animals about to bound in front of your vehicle! The ST4 and 8 are road legal as they are E marked if wired through main beam switch. Will have to check light regs to see what angle you can point them at and still be road legal. Brendan |

We did manage to get the two small rear work lights fitted before the Muddy Truckers - had to pitch the roof tent in the dark and they were perfect!
Hope to see you both soon. Our blog - http://landytravels.com/ Yorkshire Off Road Club - http://www.yorkshireoffroadclub.net |

Well we are back from our trip to Germany in the white 90. About 1700 miles round trip and I did most of the driving
Main reason for the trip was to see various suppliers including Entreq and Nakatanenga. Brought back a load of goodies, however one disadvantage of going in the 90 was lack of beer carrying space on the return trip Managed to squeeze the odd bottle in however. We like to use the items we sell ourselves and not just rely on manufacturers information. We have been using iPads for navigation for a couple of years now and like them and find that the Ram mounts are good for mounting iPads on the move. Using the iPads for navigation they will last about 4-5 hours on the internal battery. We have bought and use a hyper juice battery which greatly extended the use of the iPad for navigation. We would suggest that using an iPad for navigation draws about 2 amps from the battery. Apple recommends charging iPads at 2 amps. The Blue Sea 1016 dual USB are rated at 2.1 amps. Having the iPad plugged into the 1016 socket and using it for navigation the state of charge increased at about 3-5% per hour. Now if brightness of the screen is decreased the charge rate will increase whilst still using it for navigation. So the 1016 gets a big from us. Also had a Nakatanenga seat cover on. Have used seat covers in the past and some of the waterproof ones I have found them to be uncomfortable and sweaty. However the Nakatanenga ones are made from a soft fabric, much more comfortable then others and the pockets were useful. It is a legal requirement in some countries to be able to reach a flo vest from your seat and the back pockets are a good place to keep them. Brendan |

Ooops long time since I have reported back on here.
Well the white 90 decided to spit its dummy out on the way to Harrogate whilst towing our new trailer. It pulled well uphill but then the turbo hose decided to unseat itself. All tools well and truly buried so call to Land Rover Assist. Whilst waiting for them Karen in our old Hybrid turned up. A couple of phone calls later and Steve was on his way in our red 110 to pick up the trailer. Apparently he found it slow going in the a300 TDi towing the trailer The white 90 has undergone a face lift and has some new 'essentials' fitted including some brand new goodies. Will report back later The winch solenoids on the black 110 are playing up so some Albrights are required . Just got back from the HUBB Tried a few new items out. A big hit with us and our tamed tester was the Foxwing floor saver Yes they worked well. I need to get a few photos up. Brendan |

Busy at the unit yesterday when one of the other guys asked if I had a compressor.
Yes but it is on Anderson connectors. A hired Luton body Transit which was taller then the usual one. Drove into the units under roller shut door and crunched the roof on a beam. Lowered tyres down to about 5 psi to get out but would wreck the tyres driving to a garage to reinflate. So Defenders to the rescue again Brendan |
