It very simple to install and calibrate, it is controlled by a small control pad that is best mounted on the flat surface to the side of the radio/heater controls.
It needs an analogue can bus signal for the speed sensor - taken from the rear of the dash A wire to the clutch switch on the pedal box under the bonnet A wire to the brake switch on the pedal Power and earth |

I'd be interested, depending on the pennies. It's the only thing I miss from the 'normal' car when I'm in the Landy. No the other left . . .

Read on an Aussie LR forum that this Waeco unit is compatible with the Freelander 2, which may mean it is compatible with the Puma as well:

This unit is compatible with Ford Transit (2.4TDCi Engine), so I assumed it would be applicable to the Defender. I tried to get an answer out of WAECO on this, and was met with silence. Perhaps they don't ship to AUS, and that's why they ignored me. |

If it is compatible with the Ford Transit, then it "must" be compatible with the Puma. After all, both use the Ford CANBus, but do they use the same ECU? |
