Hi, it's quite easy to do.
Lock cams with 6mm pins at 6 o'clock You will see arrows facing up Timing pump as a hole in the sprocket that will be at 2 o'clock Crank is set at 50 btdc using tool 303-698 laser tool 4306 The torque screw in the end of the crank will be at 10:30 when at 50btdc The chain has 3 dark links that line up with the 2 arrows on the cam sprockets and the hole in the pump sprocket Make sure the tensioner is completly off, when the chain is on and all the links lined up release the bolts on the fuel pump and cam sprockets and release the tensioner then torque the bolts in the pump to 33nm and the cam sprockets to 35nm Rotate engine twice AFTER REMOVING CRANK LOCKING PIN and recheck timing You must replace the front cover and seal with loctite black silicone and tighten bolts to 11nm, you need a special tool to align the cover on the crank but if you fit a new front crank seal which doesn't come with the cover the plastic guide comes with it. Good look |
