Bill,
2 things you can do .. > open the bonnet and drain any water in the heater intake, there are 2 rubber nipples at the bottom of the plastic housing. they block up, these can be removed. > buy a snow cowl, this stops rain entering your heater intake. Not to everyone's taste but they do fulfill a function if you leave your truck outside all the time. They are available from SGH (site sponsor) for about £30, other sponsors also sell them welcome to land rover ownership |

As said above. It will be water in the heater inlet duct. There are rubber teets fitted, but these need to kept clear.
Or removed, so are never a problem again. Follow bit plastic pipe from wing grill, to bulkhead, teets are on the bottom of this pipe. Andy |

I notice you've an XS it could also be the air conditioning drain underneath the vehicle. Some people (myself included) have cut the rubber drain teet to prevent it from clogging. Lift any mats you may have and see if the carpets may be damp. With the mats in it can look dry but often is the case they're wet underneath.
Good luck. Thread here follow the link in my first post on this thread: http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic14463.html?highlight=footwell If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!! Treat every day as if it is your last....one day you will be right!! |
