For those that just 'tinker' or get others to do the work for them on their Land Rovers chequer plate serves no real purpose except perhaps for looks. As you know I have chequer plate and have found it a Godsend for kneeling/leaning on for access, using as a convenient workbench and of course a coffee table. It is really down to personal choice and only you can make it. Ignore the usual scoffers and scorners as I'm sure there will be a few! Unfortunately for you mine is silver. If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!! Treat every day as if it is your last....one day you will be right!! |
