I'm still with XP.
It's stable and it does what I want it to.

.......except those bloomin' 'Security Alert' pop-ups

XP home edition for me too! Ten years old this year. Whistle I would say still going strong but it takes some putting up with & understanding! It's like that old engine that just won't give up whatever you do to it. Rolling with laughter Chillin In The BackwoodsπŸ‡¬πŸ‡§πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ

Tests have proved xp is faster than w7 - there's progress for you

I am about to jump ship and join the MacBook Pro community, I'm doing a fair bit with my DSLR at the moment and together with the ability to run VMS I'm not going to loose much

I'll still have a couple of w7 laptops though

I am plagued by them. 4 new ones plus parents in next door garden.

How do you get rid of these vermin? BM52

You get that damn stupid law changed! For now, shoot 'em or if not possible there is a liquid product about called Fox Oil. This is a fox repellant with quite a repugnant smell that shepherds have sometimes used to deter foxes from taking lambs.
To find some it would be worth knowing some livestock farmers or gamekeepers as a little of the stuff goes a long way.

Do not dip your finger in it or hold the can up to your nose to sniff it, if you get it on you it can take up to a week to get shot of the smell and that's with you doing the washing up by hand every night.

Best way to feed them is to give them specially shaped bits of lead Whistle
My damned terrier is a great one to try to dye herself from white to a certain shade of brown and when she was younger and out and about with me would often have to suffer the indignity of being shoved in a bucket of water before the trip home, it got that I used to carry a supply of water and a bucket for the purpose Rolling Eyes
