Side Steps
I've been told by my local stealer that the side steps (LR008379) I ordered (just after Christmas) for my 90 are not in stock in LR UK. It's particularly annoying as the wife can't get into the vehicle without great difficulty as she's only 4' 6". You can imagine the moans I get when she has to attempt to climb up in a tight skirt etc. Sad

I'm told that there is no estimated date and they are going to have to speak to "scheduling" to find out when they might arrive.

Does this "no idea when" thing often happen? Any ideas on someone who might stock them? ----------

Side Steps
Fandango,

Fekete may be able to clarify but he bought some from here:

http://www.sidestepsuk.com/?gclid=CNbo_733tZ8CFRlr4wodCAxU0Q

He highly recommends them and reckons they're top quality on a different post. I just had a look and they look similar to the OE ones. If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!!

Almost Identical!
Nice One Fekete! Looks cool.

Your side steps do look absolutely identical to the standard ones I've got on mine from your photos! May help Fandango from having to get down on all fours and act like a stepping stool for his 4' 6" other half?

K9 when i got them the guy said that all the others on the net are copies of these steps... i'm not 100 percent but i'm sure he mentioned something about supplying L/R he was also producing soft a bars & winch bumpers NEVER TAKE LIFE SERIOUSLY. NOBODY GETS OUT ALIVE ANYWAY

It might also be worth giving Duckworth Parts a call http://www.duckworthparts.co.uk/acatalog/Accessories.html - I had a similar issue with a dog guard for my 110. The LR dealer said they were out of stock at LR UK, called Duckworth and got it within the week. It was also about 15% cheaper!

Thanks guys.

Fekete's steps look remarkably similar (& cheaper) to LR ones.

Hopefully I can cancel my order on Monday (already paid!!) and look at getting a set of those.
