2013 Defender 110 Puma 2.2 XS CSW Aintree Green

Roof Trim Studs

Is there an easy way to remove them without them breaking? I need to get the roof lining down to run some cables but I don't want to cause any damage in the process.... 2013 Aintree Green 110 Station Wagon SX

I use a claw hammer and gently lever them out. Place something flat and rigid between the hammer and lining though.

As Rusty says, a claw hammer will work. I have a trim removal tool, but it's basically the same idea. You just need to apply equal pressure around the head of the fixing and pull it out straight to prevent them from snapping. If you stick a screwdriver under one side and lever them out they tend to snap due to the uneven loading. 2005 Td5 | 90 Station Wagon | Tonga Green

Old fork with middle prong bent / broken out of the way.

Make sure it's and old one 0 sunday best sterling silver doesn't go down well - but is stronger! TY&GN
