Is this the trim you mean here? if so then no, just remove the fuse box and relays. Thats on a Td5, can't comment on the Puma.

Just remove the torx screws on the lower part of the dash and pull it away as the rubber is tucked up there to reomve CSK Automotive

100inch do you have a Puma Defeder?? I have been warming up to this dynamat idea but was also wondering how to get that mat that runs along the front of the foot well and under the dash out. Had a good look over the weekend and it appeared tricky.
How extensively are you laying the dynamat? I am thinking just the front footwell and under the front seats. |

Yes I got a 110 Puma. Just finished the Dynamat around the front seats today. I removed the trim gearbox- tunnel/footwells but left the trim going up on the bulkhead. Will post some pics tomorrow.m

Without going into technicalities of sound absorption Dynamat is excellent at taking low frequency vibrations out of panels. In order to cut other airborne frequency noise out such as road noise, then there needs to be open or closed cell foam layed over the Dynamat, then your carpet or Hardura. Dynaliner is the foam that is designed by the Same manufacturers of Dynamat. It is good but expensive however there are cheaper alternatives. If its going to get wet then it needs to be a closed cell foam. Open cell has better sound absorption properties and can be used on the roof and rear panels down to the arches.
There is a bulk buy Dynaliner offer on the forum, hope this helps |

The Dynamat is Simon or SGH is his name on the forum.
4 sheets of this is enough to go over the whole roof and the rear floor on top of your Dynamat. It's cheap and works! http://www.pipelagging.com/armacell-armafl...6_179.html |

Sorry for the delay! I have done the load area, front and back row seats all over plus front footwells. Yes, there is a difference but I thing I will do the roof ASAP. I would definitely recommend doing it but it takes quite a bit of work if you want it done properly. |
