No he likes to play football too much. More of a pet, only ever seen one rabbit, but at least he chased it,
.
As a puppy he chased a deer twice his size, wondered what he was going to do if he caught up with it!
Deer ran out the field through a fence, he stopped and looked around as if to say "see I nearly had it" 110XS CSW TD5.

Beautiful ridgeback Thumbs Up we have a 9 year old female of the same build. She is the smartest most athletic dog I've ever known. When we camp she hangs at the edge of the light and keeps an eye out for lions, tigers and bears. A true sense of duty! Also been known to snooze in the beds!

We thought he would be attached more. But he's very independent, Whippets are known as thieves Leave any thing around and he be off with it. He always came back, more of a pack animal always happy in company. We want another to keep hm company for when we are out. Great dogs as they don't want a lot of exercise.

Would highly recommend one or two as pets. Apparently once you get one you get more! 110XS CSW TD5.

... and Greek terriers. Wife came down to ice the "Red Nose Day" cupcakes this morning and Winnie had got the icing bag off the side last night. It was pushed so far back (we are always careful) she must have performed an extraordinarily athletic manoeuvre to get at it Shocked

Pouf - thank you. People often ask us what breed she is (her proportions are very good). We used to say "Paros Terrier" but no-one seems to know where that is. "Griffon Kanis" sounds much posher Laughing Tell someone you love them today because life is short.
But shout it at them in German because life is also terrifying and confusing...

History is that he was owned as a pet by an old chap from a pup, the poor old fella has been in and out of hospital recently so could not cope with the dog any longer and was concerned about finding him a home. I picked him up on Saturday from someone who was looking after him. [You now who you are should you read this Thumbs Up ]

TBH he is a gent. He sits, stays, doesn't snatch and has only tried to nail the cat once. I took him out on a long line this morning only to find he readily comes to the recall and despite his domesticated life so far was marking inhabited rabbit holes and coped well when he pushed one up that was dozing in the sun. I think he has the makings of a useful little ratter Smile Steve.
