Seen plenty of options all with part numbers starting with CT20LR with various plug fittings i.e. CT20LR02 CT20LR03.
The plug on yours looks most like the new Discovery / Freelander versions to me. I'd recommend you take out that red protector part (carefully) [It's there to prevent any short circuits so if it's easy to get out for the time being put it back also] Once it's off take a photo of the connector and it's pins and also take note of the wire colours. From then on post some photo's up here again and I can have a look again. As your Defender is so new an adaptor may not have been released yet so it maybe that if the design and fit is the same and crucially the wires and pins the same that the Disco version may fit. But it's one of those things where you'd have to judge it as being the identical connector on the adaptor to the harness. If even after all that you go to fit and it still doesn't fit you haven't wasted your money. Just cut off the plug on the adaptor that is not ISO and likewise on the LR plug and solder the two together (I'm sure you know how anyway) Then you will have just one plug and that will be an ISO plug which fits ALL aftermarket HU's. Sorry I can't help any more at this time I have spent half an hour having a look round. As I said before take that red part off first.  No Guts, No Glory.

Various options there but it's obvious the adaptors put down for "Defender" won't fit at all. Silly LR must have been recently busy changing from ISO to Manufactuer / model specific. Not sensible IMO.  No Guts, No Glory.

Ah that's brilliant, the D4 one looks spot on. I'll see how easy I can source one and see if it's a compatible wiring layout. It's a very backward step going to a manufacturer specific design after previously converting to a standard like ISO, standardisation is one thing but this seems pretty mental. Anyway, I'll source a D4 adapter and see what's what. Thanks for all your help, I'll update when I have it sorted. Hmmmm, thats not mud.... This one I assume then is worth a try: http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/con-ct20lr...-2010.html I must admit it looks similar. I too agree it is a backwards step going from ISO plugs. Td5's and earlier were manufacturer specific and the 2007 Puma 2.4 went to ISO plugs which IMO was brilliant and a great improvement. All I can think of is LR want to keep the Defender audio market to the selves I.e. so it's not easy to just change to an aftermarket unit if the LR unit breaks down. So owners will go direct to LR for a new HU and because aftermarket won't fit and of course they charge and you get the picture. I'll probably get shot down in flames for saying this too but I think moving to using Alpine equipment as OE for new Defenders is a bad choice indeed. If they must why not offer a range of brands even a couple would do. But Alpine No Thank-You from me... Kenwood, Pioneer & Clarion are some of THE best choices IMO. But each to their own. No Guts, No Glory.

Must confess no fan of alpine, but the head unit in mine with bt is quite acceptable.

Interestingly I've checked with local LR dealer's auto electrician and audio fitting chap and another local specialist who have both said that the Ford Fiesta 2008 ISO adapter cable is the one used and much easier to source. The Volvo V70 (1998) version also fits but the speaker pins are reversed.

If it fits the New Defenders as well then why don't retailers on-line list the fact.  Either way looks like your more or less sorted now then. No Guts, No Glory.

Aha! Sorted now, turns out it is a Fiesta 2008> ISO connector but the 12V pin is incorrectly placed so a bridge is necessary in order to deliver power. Very straightforward, remove Purple/Black from LR plug, remove Red from adapter cable and join the two. Hmmmm, thats not mud....
