Welcome to the forum Kelly. Feel free to be an active participant (not just a browser and listener). Thumbs Up

In my experience of these forums, you've got a pretty open-minded bunch of folks here - a good gauge of public opinion.

If you ever wanted some early pre-release feedback on, say, the new Defender, you'll get plenty of willing volunteers Whistle One that started out as a 2.4 TDCi 110 XS

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone!

Hi Go Beyond,
I am awaiting response from our executive office regarding the replication of Land Rover brand on your products. I will update you accordingly.

Hi Dobby,
I will unfortunately not be able to set up a chat with the design team as they are not customer facing. However I will be sure to pass over any suggestions, comments and feedback.

Hi Couplands,
As I have stated above, I am more than willing to pass on comments to the relevant departments in contribution towards future development. Your input will be greatly appreciated.

Hi Farmer Giles,
Unfortunately I am currently between cars but if the funds were available I would be heavily drawn towards an Land Rover.

Kind regards,
Kelly

cop out - i'm sure you drive a bmw x5 but don't want to admit it on here.

i've assembled a team of D2 members who can help land rover in various departments in the future:
caterham - quality control
zagato - rust proofing
go beyond - interior finishes
k9 mal -archives
killer 90 - limited editions (think of him as posh spice)
miserableoldgit - base models
custom steve - audio
leeds - overland special vehicles
farmer giles - paintshop (any colour so long as it is green, blue, red or white)
willy eckerslike - customer services

i'm sure the team will grow with suggestions Thumbs Up

Hi Farmer Giles

Unfortunately I have no wheels other than the ones on a double decker bus at the moment Sad
I'm going car shopping over the weekend so hopefully I'll be back on the roads soon!

As for the team you have created, I am keen to hear suggestions. If you guys want to PM me or start a thread with improvement ideas, I will pass them onto our design team.

Kind regards,
Kelly

Get yourself a Defender if you want be taken serious on this board... Mr. Green
Tell Landrover Headquarters the next Defender needs to be at least as noisy and basic as the one we have now. Otherwise they won't sell a single one to me ever again. Laughing

just a thought - and you'll have to bear with me because a - I'm simple and b - I like simple things

the limited edition defenders, fire & ice, x-tech etc. not to mention all the after marked stuff - doesn't that go to show there's a market out there for high end defenders and not just the work horse it was origninally intended to be and the feeling I seem to get from the dealers who for the most part don't take it seriously other than for those that 'use' it.

mercedes g wagon G63 amg - not suggesting LR should look to compete with this but just a little more attention to detail

Me too... how about an aftermarket deluxe windscreen kit that simply doesn't leak. Please distribute it through my dealer so they don't need "to have another try". How hard can it be to seal something from new?

Sorry, grouchy because my feet got wet again this morning... Tell someone you love them today because life is short.
