The diff guards are a sore spot between killer and I.

Due a dispute with trading standards agency over the use of the word BLACKsmith, killer has taken personal offence at being unable to call himself a WHITEsmith, has hung up his tongs and anvil and is getting some metal products manufactured. This inferior blacksmith keeps letting him down. Laughing

Ill get my coat..... ===================================

I think for making you and I wait so long with such excitement the very least he can do is offer a severe discount.. At least for his most loyal customers. (Even more so for one's that give him freebies in the post eh Chris) Whistle Mr. Green Whistle

Yes, they are. Check that the shackles are rated high enough though. Mine are 3.5T IIRC.

P.S.
I'd recommend you get what your looking for from either FlatDog UK or First Four. Both have good prices and are well trusted. Mine are FF shackles and swivels. Thumbs Up No Guts, No Glory.

Pete (GUM) - You beat me to it with the link I was looking for the exact same link. FD do the swivels too I think but not complete as you would need the recovery swivel / eye. Circlip & bow shackle. Oh and circlip pliers or you'll ruin the circlips removing them. Guess how I found that out. Rolling Eyes I also used a little copper grease when re-installing keep away a little corrosion that way and also smoother movement.
FF Swivel / recovery eye + circlip + bow shackle
I painted my shackle pins as they were blue and yellow isn't much better. Confused Use is just the same though & that's only personal taste / looks.

Thumbs Up No Guts, No Glory.

Steve- I was looking for the link, and then by the time I'd found it you'd already posted! Laughing
What did you paint them with? Hammerite or similar? Mine need doing, and they haven't even been used yet! An engine to TDi for!

Well I didn't prime them at all as the paint will get worn off if used anyway so just gave a damned good clean as it would be a waste of money to go too OTT on it. Paint I used red enamel like This and clear coated a couple of times in This
I do have approx half a can of red enamel spare right now. It's yours if you'd be happy to cover postage? Should be enough just for that their only small 100ml cans but there only small in size the pins. No Guts, No Glory.

Fitted the Alive exhaust, decat, and intercooler along with a new filter and hoses over the weekend. My winch install caused some issues fitting the intercooler so had to move the water cooling back 10mm. All up and running, very noticeable in 5th and 6th. I have still got the DMS map from before so not sure if I should try a map from Gary @ Alive. Confused
