I have one ill take some pics tomorrow although I don't think I saw any mountings inside the cubby box, unless they mount it with countersunk fittings and then trim it

also the cubby with the sub attatched is an inch or so shorter than the standard one without, there is nothing special to how they have fitted it just drilled holes through the trim, box and interior card thats it

Thanks Rich any pictures? .As trying to mount one in my X-tech when the sub arrives from the UK. Seems that the pre-wiring is in place already underneath the cubby and that microcat shows the sub with a trailing wire. Do you think they modify the hight of the cubby? The X-tech has a bigger pad on the top so I don't think that will cause any issues.

Rich, got you, where do they shorten the 'cubby hole' presume it as a different pad too? Is this in microcat?

the whole cubby box is shorter from front to back, they have taken an inch or a little bit more off the front section where the slope is, its at a steeper angle now, i have got one of each i can take pics of to show you ill post them tomorrow.
the plate for the inside has 4 threaded bars that will show through the back of the cubby that the sub will fix to, i can get some measurements for the holes when i take the pics. |
