Dinitrol I could very well be wrong but the chassis rails looked like they had a thick coat of black wax on already ? I was having a look at the mounts for the folding steps, which also looked different on the 13MY, and the chassis certainly was covered in something. Not like the 110 at all which was just paint. Looks great Bob! Congratulations. I'll look forward to seeing a lot more pics over the coming weeks and months. Are you being relegated to the Td5 then now? Not that there's anything wrong with that! Not at all. I do think the black arches could look pretty good. 2005 Td5 | 90 Station Wagon | Tonga Green

Yep, TD5 at the moment and I love driving it, especially the sound
I am waiting to fit the red mirror covers etc before deciding on the arches. I, and Yeovil LR, say yes but SWHMBO is an artist (**ss ) and has an excellent eye for colour combinations. When I said red with a black roof for the new one she immediately said yes. When we talked about black arches today she was hesitant and I respect her view. When it is sat on the drive we will cover the arches with something black and see what it looks like. Thanks all
Believe it or not, it was actually quite dirty when I took the pictures, in fact the back was covered in salt Once cleaned up and the swirls in the paintwork, done by the person at the factory who does not know how to use a rotary polisher, removed it will look stunning Bob 2015 Jaguar XE240 R Sport - goes like ....... !! 2013 Defender 90 CSW - sold 2009 Defender 110 Double Cab - sold 2001 TD5 90 CSW - offroad project - sold to a forum member 2011 Porsche Boxster - for the sunny days ! |

Finally got my rear window replaced under warranty - updated glass fitted with the heater elements routed around the rear brake light. Top 3 elements had failed on the original glass due to brake light rubbing against the elements.
..and they washed it so that saved a job Cheers, Superspoons |
