Andrews half tune is exactly that, he wanted a map that was weaker than the norm incase he was stuck in the sand and had to give it full bore for long periods of time.

Thats clever! I didn't know you could do that.
Mine is back at the dealers again as it gave up the ghost on th eway home. I still think it is the PCJ issue as it only has done it when cold and for the last five times it had to be recovered they told me it was water in the fuel but how many times can you do amod to the breather pipe before you start looking somewhere else? |

I am hoping they will sort it this time! As the land rover assist chap draind some diesel from the pump and though there was a little water not enough to (in his words) to have any effect. Out of interest it was a fuel code that came up P1169.

MPG to be honest I have not done the exact sums but I reckon about 24 ish. Last year without the re map we were getting 16 -18 Considering we were loaded and had loads on the rack 24 is good. We had no issues at all with the car. I must admit I have a bit more faith in the vehicle now. You should have seen the places we drove in very very soft sand. |

There is a new software and firmware update available for my BAS interfaces, you dont need to have is if your BAS remap interface is already up and running but if we need to make changes or map update in the future you will have to use this new version software instead.
Most of you will have version 3.47 some 3.66 the new version is 3.72, it can be downloaded from the link in my signature. Pete PS The units are still on sale at the original offer price and are in stock pre programed with the new firmware. Last edited by bell-auto-services on 11th Jan 2010 7:59pm. Thanks for the update Pete, mine is going in on Monday to reload the new update. If the dealers get it to work properly this time I'll drop you a line.

Hi Ian, email sent.
The interface can only work on one car at a time so you would need 2 interfaces, i can offer you a small discount if you order 2 at the same time. Pete |

Yeah sorry, I meant that if they (the dealers) redo the download I may need to contact you to give me access with the BAS box. |
