Clutch pedal creak...
Ever since I did the clutch pedal mod with the later type spring, I have suffered a very annoying creak every time the clutch was let out. No amount of oil or Wd sprayed at the spring seemed to cure it.

Today I had a couple of minutes and took the 6 screws that hold the pedal box cover off. Then used some spray grease on the pedal pivot and adjuster, and hey presto - no more creak!

Mine does it too, so I will have to do the same! Thanks for the tip. I know that I also need to replace the rubber gasket on the pedal box cover, so will do that at the same time. The last time I took it off, it pretty much disintegrated. 2005 Td5 | 90 Station Wagon | Tonga Green
