It seems more responsive now GUM and the 50 to 60mph deffo seems better. There was quite a bit of gunge in there on mine so well worth cleaning. |

Haven't driven my Defender since Monday as me and other half have been laid up with flu.
But good news is we got 3 deliveries yesterday and himself is feeling better and has Mon and Tues off so tomorrow starts a 4 day effort at getting some more work done! Deliveries yesterday included Mantec spare wheel carrier, Hi-Lift Extreme jack (very pretty!!), and some more Wold box bits and bobs, all from Flat Dog. Got a bit of discount from them so big Also, finally arrived from Cyprus, a metal military escape hatch to replace the glass sunroof - so I can climb about on the roof without worrying about putting my foot through the glass, and also to cut down on the heat from the Outback sun! In addition, my Cobb cooker arrived along with a couple of bags of Aussie type Heat Beads. Boy those beads are heavy compared to charcoal but they are supposed to be very efficient heat wide. Maybe wait for my flu to go completely and a bit more spring sunshine before trying it out! Our blog - http://landytravels.com/ Yorkshire Off Road Club - http://www.yorkshireoffroadclub.net |

Congratulations
My wife will be keen to know how you get on. She's been lusting after a Cobb for quite a while. Darren 110 USW BUILD THREAD - EXPEDITION TRAILER - 200tdi 90 BUILD THREAD - SANKEY TRAILER - IG@landroveranorak "You came in that thing? You're braver than I thought!" - Princess Leia |

Reviews I've read suggest the Lokkii briquettes are not good on a Cobb as they do not burn hot enough. By far the majority of tips said to use heat beads! So we shall have to see how we both get on and report back later! Our blog - http://landytravels.com/

We got one great bit of kit. use the Cobb stones in it, no flames, well some to start. Then cooking in 5 mins.
last 2 hours and easy to clean out. Dog loves it as he licks the juice catcher!!! Plus each brick is sealed so easy to store. Wayne, 110XS CSW TD5. |

The pack I got came with a free box of Cobblestones so will try them too, although they are a bit pricey for frequent use! Our blog - http://landytravels.com/
