I'm thinking of having a Webasto Thermo Top C fitted but some say it can be done, some say it can't.
Anyone done it????
Found a good solution apart from the solution above the turbo (quite common) in the German forum Blacklandy, link to the picture of the construction is here: http://blacklandy.de/blboard/forum/showthr...amp;page=7 He mounted it behind the right front light under the air-filterbox.. HTH! |

seems as though this is a new fitting kit to mount the webasto under the front wing - here's link to the site and some pics: http://www.entreq.de/ersatzteile_shop,Defe...4,eng.html Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Admin note: this post has had its images recovered from a money grabbing photo hosting site and reinstated |

Hello George,
I noticed you live in Zurich. I am currently working in Zurich on a drilling rig in a building project near the Triemlistrasse/Birmensdorferstrasse. So if you see a Dutch G4 D3 driving through town it's me. I never worked that close to a city centre. Oh and if you live close Sorry for the noise we try to be quiet during the night. Hi! Do you know if this bracket is still available? Does it easy to install and compatible with the new webasto thermo top Evo? Best regards |

thats a really long coolant hose run to there assuming you plumbing into the heater hoses at 19mm ID? i looked at that position and decided it was too far/awkward for coolant pipes.
better position is above passenger seat box beside the heater blower RHD vehicle. Some pics of my installation on here somewhere. Cheers James 110 2012 XS Utility 130 2011 M57 bespoke Camper 90 2010 Hardtop 90 M57 1988 Hardtop |

Looks like they do a kit but from my shoddy German think it’s only installable by them. Searching for my first Defender...and started just as Covid hit, so talk about timing. 5 months after starting the search I found it, and here is the details |
