Happy with the 2 on the inside that fold up when I don't need them Thumbs Up

Joking aside though, It would be useful to have something that folded onto the side windows (like a "normal" car's visors). When the sun occasionally comes from the side (especially on snow), glasses don't help and there's b*gger all you can do Rolling Eyes

Anyone got a solution? Tell someone you love them today because life is short.
But shout it at them in German because life is also terrifying and confusing...

Rolling with laughter Bow down
Bit BDSM, don't you think?
A few rivets wouldn't go amiss though... Tell someone you love them today because life is short.

Can't do your mpg any good. Sad

May be wrong but it looks 'vented' so doubt if it will have any impact on MPG at all. If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!!

Treat every day as if it is your last....one day you will be right!!

That's a horse in a gimp mask - or is it just trying to disguise itself from Tesco buyers?

Bringing up an old post here... did you have to screw into the windscreen surround to fit that?

Yes to mount the side brackets you drill into the windscreen frame, just be careful , I used self tappers , but kit comes with std opo rivits 2014 2.2 90 hard top , Warm M8000 , Scorpain winch bumper, Ashcroft rear atb

With respect, I simply could not fit one of those,...looks absolutely terrible, IMHO.

Pickles, as an Aussie resident, do you see many Land rovers out there with the mesh type visors? As that is probably more like what I want. Do you know if they are widely available out there ?

The "Mesh" sunvisors are really a "thing of the past" now.
For sure, sun visors, of all descriptions, used to be a very popular accessory "downunder", but not any more. Don't think I've ever seen one on a late model vehicle.
Probably, the fact that most vehicles now have very efficient A/C units has affected sales somewhat, but also the "look" of these items?....they don't look too flash on current model vehicles.
But one thing I have noticed, is that with the shape/angle of the Defender windscreen/dash,...overhead sunlight is not a problem,...even in the Aussie sun.
The only time I get concerned about the Sun/heat etc, is when the vehicle may be parked outside for a while in the sun, in which event I have a sheet of UV resistant rubber which I place across the outside of the screen.
Pickles.

Appreciate your advice chap, thank you.

(I don't have aircon, or need it here in blighty!)

I was thinking then of this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/LAND-ROVER-DEFEN...339fb01ed6

But I think I've just talked myself out of any such ideas!
