Sounds good. There used to be a famous race, man v bike v horse. A cross country race, though the horse always won.
I don't know why they stopped it? |

I've got a few races/rides in the pipeline for 2013...I would be keen on jst's idea...
1. 23rd March - Evans Ride, Callander, Scotland (38 miles) 2. 11th May "Border Raid" http://www.kieldertrailreavers.co.uk/marathonseries 3. 1st June "Glentress Sevens" - seven hour endurance race, Peebles 4. 29th June "10 Under the Ben" - 10 hour endurance race, near Ben Nevis 5. 19/20 October - "Relentless 24" 24 hour endurance event, Fort William If wanyone's interested! The Defender will be my "pits", unless my mate takes his luxurios centrally-heated camper van Here's me racing last year (10 under the Ben IIRC) Click image to enlarge Defender "Puma" 2.4 110 County Utility (possibly the last of the 2.4's) |

It was roasting! Many dropped-out because it reached 30 degrees C in Scotland! There was a river crossing about 9 miles in (it was 10 mile loops) ...lots of folk were just sitting in the cold river I'll be 50 in June, so 10 Under the Ben 2013 will be my first race as a Super Vet I plan to do it Solo (usually I do these multi-hour endurance events as one of a pairs or part of a trio). I'll still do the 24-hour one as a trio tho Defender "Puma" 2.4 110 County Utility (possibly the last of the 2.4's) |

i had to use a fast shutter speed to catch Greeni just prior to him breaking his rear hub. i'm sure a zipp track wheel will fit your single speed |
